With so many tokens on Uniswap it can be overwhelming identifying which are the ones to keep an eye on. One shortcut to this problem is to follow what other traders are doing.

Note: there are actually two types of wallets in Tokemon — trading wallets and followed wallets. Trading wallets are wallets that belong to you and can be used by the trading bot for buy/sell orders. Followed wallets belong to other people. You can only Tokemon to send you telegram notifications every time a followed wallet makes a trade, however you can inspect wallet balances of both.

Inspecting Wallet Balances

From the ‘Wallets and Accounts’ page you can see an overview of all configured wallets, including trading and followed wallets.

Trading and followed wallets and relevant actions (circled)

For each wallet there are three prominent actions. You can click on the token name to be taken to the token page for that token. You can click on the ‘binoculars’ icon to configure a notification for that token, or you can click on the circled house icon in green to return to the token table — this time however it will only show tokens in the selected wallet.

You can now inspect the changes of price and holders of all tokens in the selected wallet with ease. You should refer to our previous article on “finding gems with Tokemon” for an explanation of the meaning of the information in this table.

Setting Token Notifications

Clicking on the ‘binoculars’ icon will bring you to the token notification page where you can configure how Tokemon should send you a message when the price of the token changes by the configured amount.

Settings control how price must change before notifying you.

For example, imaging you like the look of one of the tokens in a wallet you are following. You can configure to be notified when the price of the token drops by more that 5% over 60 minutes. This could represent a buying opportunity.

Setting Wallet Notifications

If you like the look of the performance of all tokens in the user’s wallet, and you believe the user to be a good gem hunter, you can also configure to be notified on telegram every time they make a trade.

Configurable trade thresholds for telegram messages.

This way, you will notified immediately when the user buys a Token and be well placed to get in the trade with them.

Conclusion

Tokemon is more than a tool for gem finding. It can be used to evaluate other traders portfolios and use their behavior as alpha to advise your own.

Tokemon can be accessed by purchasing $TKMN. The number of tokens you hold determines the features available (https://tokemon.io/ ‘pricing plans’)

In this post we discussed mostly the wallet following features of Tokemon, but it can do much more including bot trading, and gem hunting. For more information:
